Final – St Brigid’s 3-14 v St. Ciaran’s 1-10

The Derek Duggan Travel sponsored U-16s ended a six year absence to claim their first U-16 Division 1 Championship title following a hard-fought victory over St Ciaran’s on Saturday last in Knockroghery. A goal by Paul Daly deep into first half injury-time stretched Brigid’s lead to 2-8 to 1-6 at the interval and they powered to victory in the second-half. Well done to all the squad along with Brian Lennon and his management team for putting in such a huge effort over many months.
