St. Brigid's Club Notes 9th April 2023

Lipsing

We had a fantastic weekend at our Lipsing for St. Brigid’s Challenge in the Sheraton Athlone Hotel the first weekend in April.
Two magnificent shows featuring junior acts on the Friday night and adult acts on Saturday night all choreographed by Brandon Ryan. A huge thank you to all the amazing participants and to Brandon who put all participants and acts through their paces and had everyone lip and step perfect for their performances.
A brilliant atmosphere was enhanced by our judges Tara Flanagan, Mark Glennon, Bernie Ryan, Shane Curran and May Cunningham who had the hardest job picking winners and so complementary of all our participants.
Thank you to Infinity Multimedia & Events for providing all the lighting, sound and camera work for both shows.
Big thanks to Radiant by Hannah Kelly and her team of expert make up artists for beautifying all of our participants.
Well done to our MC Basil Mannion who got the crowd going and kept the shows flowing and never missed a beat, while keeping everyone entertained with his sharp wit and clever interviewing skills.
We cannot thank all those who provided sponsorship enough. Your support enabled us to concentrate on putting on two fantastic shows and we sincerely thank you and also to all those that provided prizes for our raffles, they were greatly appreciated.
A massive thank you to the Hodson Bay Hotel Group as our main club sponsor and to the wonderful, helpful staff at the Sheraton Athlone Hotel who supported us throughout this fundraiser and made this a successful event. Finally to our amazing, supportive audience who made this a memorable event, thank you.
