You are playing yourself, your own highest standards, and when you reach your limits, that is real joy. Victory belongs to the most persevering. Commitment to the team – there is no such thing as in-between, you are either in our out. I have seen that in any great undertaking, it is not enough for a man to depend simply upon himself. The main ingredient in stardom is the rest of the team. No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave. The one man team is a complete and total myth. One finger cannot lift a pebble. Team guts always beat individual greatness. Anyone can support a team that is winning – it takes no courage. But to stand behind a team to defend a team when it is down and really needs you, that takes a lot of courage.
