Over the past 9 months training has been provided on a weekly basis to kids between the ages of 8-13yrs. The interest and skills shown has surpassed our expectations.  The club has been represented by our juveniles at both County and Connaught level, and a number of well earned achievements harvested including 7 County Titles have being won. The winners were Juliette McGrane U12 Singles, Ruaidhri Fallon U11 Singles, Adam Samuels & Sean Trundle U11 Doubles, Diarmuid McLaughlin and Shane Kelly U12 Doubles. Roscommon were drawn against Mayo in the Connaught semi-final and the venue for the games was Charlestown. We had no winners on the day but our 6 players can be very proud of the way they represented their Club and County and can all hope to go 1 step further next year.

We were also represented for the first time at Juvinelle Level in the County One wall Champships and 2 of our most consistent players this year (Juliette McGrane and Cormac Canning) reached the finals. Juliette was narrowly beaten but Cormac Canning won the U13 final to earn St Brigids their first one wall title at juvenile level.

To finish off the season we held a competion in St Bridigs Handball Complex Curraghboy. In the semi-final Juilette McGrane was defeated by Cormac Canning (21-9) and Diarmaid McLoughlin was defeated by Rory Fallon (21- 10). The final between Cormac and Diarmaid turned out to be a fantastic battle with both player showing high levels of skill and fitness. In the end Rory narrowly claimed victory on a score line of 21-17.  Well done to all the players and trainers involved.

Special thanks to Padraic Coyle, Enda Ward, Philip O Connor and Seamus McHugh for making the tournament a success. Thanks to B-Scope studios for capturing the action on the day. (see photo gallery for pictures)
