The
Junior men’s team recorded a 1-8 to 0-4 win over Strokestown on Sunday.

They
lead by 1-5 to 0-1 at half time. The goal came from Davy Cunniffe.. Four points
were recorded by Cormac Sheehy with Joey Cunniffe adding the fifth from a free.



2
points from frees and a point from play from Joey Cunniffe added to Brigids
lead. A penalty to Strokestown was saved by the Brigids keeper. Strokestown
added three points in 2nd half with the latter two coming in the closing
minutes.

Zumba
Classes


Zumba classes are starting this Thursday 3rd April in
the clubhouse for both men and women 
from 8-9pm. Classes costs €50 for 7
classes. Everyone is welcome to come along.

Training

Training continues for all grades from U8s to Senior.
Players will be notified of any changes to normal training times. We are always
welcoming new members. Training schedules or further information on St.

The Ladies Committee is aiming to put photographs of
all winning Ladies teams down through the years on the clubhouse wall. Anyone
who may be able to help with information on winning teams or may have
photographs of relevant teams is asked to contact ladies Committee Chairman

ST BRIGIDS MINOR COMMITTEE NOTES WEEK
ENDING APRIL 6th 2014

 

Minors: The Minor team recorded
another excellent  league victory, this time against near neighbours Clann
na nGael 
on
Tuesday night
 of last week in Kiltoom. St Brigid’s led 0-7 to 0-2 at
half-time and pushed on to win on a final scoreline of 0-11 to 0-5. Team and
scorers: Shane Mannion(0-1), Conor McNiece, Brian Stack, Alan Daly, Ciaran
Walshe, Martin Nolan, Robbie Fallon, Conor Murray, Eamon Cunnane, Conor Quinn
(0-2), Luke Carty(0-2), John Cunningham(0-1), Jack McDonnell (0-4), Conor
Gleeson (0-1), Mark Carson. Subs used: Paul Daly for M. Carson. Other subs:

The team’s league game against St Ciaran’s scheduled for
Sunday last has been refixed for this coming Thursday in Fuerty

U-16s: The U-16s scheduled game
against St Ciaran’s on Sunday last was postponed.




U-14s: The U-14s first league game of
the season sees them take on Roscommon Gaels in Lisnamult on Thursday next, 
April
10th at 7pm
. Players will be notified of full arrangements during the week.
Féile:


St Brigid’s is a host club for this year’s Féile 2014 and arrangements
will be discussed in detail at a parent information 
night
on Monday, April 14
th at
7.30pm
.
A notice outlining requirements needed for the information night
will be distributed this week in advance to players via coaches.




U-12s: The U-12s are scheduled to play
their first game in the Easyfix tournament away to Galway team Annaghdown on
Saturday next,
April 12th at
11 am
. Players will be notified of full details during the week.




Camps: Applications are invited from
third level students, who have experience in coaching underage players, to
apply for coaching positions on Kellogg’s GAA Football and Hurling Cúl Camps in
the county this summer. Students should forward CV with letter of application
and details of experience to Roscommon GAA Games Manager Willie Hegarty by
