St. Brigid’s GAA Club Notes 15th March 2015

Club Registration

Anyone
that did not make the registration night is urged to pay membership as soon as
possible. Membership for all u18’s is €60 each, Adult non playing members €50,
Adult playing members €80. It is extremely important that all players, coaches
and mentors are registered for insurance reasons. Only fully paid members will
be allowed to play, coach, mentor or hold a position on any club committee.

Club Dinner Dance

The
club dinner dance will take place this Saturday 21st March in
the Hodson Bay Hotel. Guest speaker on the night will be Paddy Carr, our new
senior team’s manager and music will be by the fantastic ‘Big Deal’. There
will also be a special presentation to Pat Dennehy, as an acknowledgement for
the lifetime of work he has done for the club.   Tickets on sale from

Club Walking Group

Following
on from the success of Operation Transformation a walking group has being
established which will hold walks around St. Brigid’s walking track every MondayWednesday and Friday nights at 8pm. New members are welcome to join

u16 championship continued this week with a tough game against St. Barry’s in Tarmonbarry last Sunday
An improved second half performance by St. Brigids was not enough to
secure victory, St Barry’s pulling away by 2 points in the end.

COMMITTEE NOTES WEEK ENDING MARCH 15TH 2015

5km Fun Run

The
5km Fun Run/Walk/Crawl takes place on Sunday 29th March at
11am
from St. Brigid’s GAA Clubhouse. Entry is €10 or €15 for a family.
Registration begins at 9.30am, with refreshments served afterwards. We
encourage as many people as possible to join us for this event.

A
huge thanks to everyone who attended and supported our night of cards last Friday night.
Thanks to everyone that helped out on the night, especially the u14 boys’
parents and management team and a special word of thanks and congratulations to
Eamon Cunnane for organising and running this fantastic event.
