Club Notes 9th September 2018

U12 Boys

We has a busy week with our under 12 squad.

Last Monday our Division 2 side traveled to Fourmilehouse to play Kilbride.
The home side had much the better of things in the first half and deserved led by four points at the break. In the second half the Kiltoom/Cam side finally found their groove and began to play some good football. In the end they managed to see the game out for their first victory of the Summer league.

On Thursday evening our Division 5A side got their Summer league campaign finally underway when we entertained Padraig Pearse's in Kiltoom.
On this occasion the visitors buoyed with a very strong bench were too good for the home side and ran out deserved winners despite a valiant effort by the home team.

On Saturday our Division 5A played St. Aidan's in a ding-dong battle in Kiltoom. This was a very even, high scoring game where both teams served up some entertaining fare. With St. Brigid's leading by a few scores in the closing stages, St. Aidan's we able to introduce some fresh legs from the bench that ultimately was the difference as they recorded the narrowest of victories.
It was unfortunate as the valiant effort of the home side certainly deserved something from the game.
