All Ireland and All Nations Sheep Shearing and Wool Handling Championships 2017

We are delighted that the All Ireland & All Nations Sheep Shearing and Wool Handling Championships 2017, will be held in St. Brigid’s on the June Bank Holiday weekend. This competition will be hosted in conjunction with the Irish Sheep Shearers Association on the June Bank Holiday weekend.
This event promises to be a memorable weekend and to make this happen a massive effort from the community will be needed. The event will be of huge benefit to local businesses and will be a boost for the development of the local area.

If you think you could sell tickets, please contact Tommy on (086)4493871.                                                                                                              You can now pay the club lotto on-line https://myclubfinances.com/StBrigidsRos.

Match Reports

This year we are hoping to get some more parents involved in the ‘admin’ side of the club. This means that we are looking for parents to help on match days by doing up team sheets and keeping a record of the score so that we can put together match report for local papers, social media, and our website. There will be a simple template for parents to use on match day. This template is easy to fill in with the team and record scores, a photo of the team sheet can be taken and sent to the appropriate person to compile a match report. If you know anyone that may be interested in helping, please contact club PRO Áine Martin on 086-3791294 or e-mail ainemartin1@gmail.com
