U-16s: Best of luck to our U16s in their championship game away to Boyle on Thursday, August 6th at 7pm. They in put a very good display in their first game on Monday last in Kiltoom against Michael Glavey's/Eire Og who went on to take the two points narrowly following late goals.

Ladies Notes: St Brigid’s Intermediate Ladies had a harsh reminder of the extremely competitive nature of the Intermediate Championship with a defeat against Boyle in Kiltoom today. St Brigid’s had to line up with a team showing seven changes from the one that performed heroically in Knockcroghery last week and Boyle were in no mood to give St Brigid’s time to adjust. The first half saw relentless pressure from Boyle and they led 2-10 to 1-1 at half time. Brigid’s were unable to impose themselves on the game in the second half and while they finally matched Boyle in the last quarter, the game was over as a contest at this stage. St Brigid’s have a week to reflect and recover and next up is an away match against St Ciaran’s next Sunday, August 9th at 11am. Final Score St Brigid’s 2-3, Boyle 5-19. St Brigid’s: Aoife Coyle; Shauna Francis; Aine McGrath; Karen O Boyle; Emma Gleeson; Rebecca Collins; Elaine Morris. Abbey Curran (1-0); Lauren Curran; Amy Fallon; Marian Nolan; Lauren Gallagher; Orla Donnelly; Aine O’Brien (0-1); Andrea Whyte (1-0).
