Club Notes 23rd September 2018

Thank You

The Club executive would like to thank all of our fantastic volunteers for their help on Sunday last. It was an extremely busy day in the club, but as always everything ran smoothly thanks to all the help that we get from parents, players, supporters, stewards, volunteers, coaches, committee members and friends.

U6 and u8 End of Year Blitz

Huge thanks to all involved in Sunday’s end year U6 and U8 blitz. To our visiting clubs Kilmurry Ibricken from County Clare, CLG Bearna ó Contae na Gaillimhe and Athlone Gaa, thank you for making the trip to Kiltoom today and for the sportsmanship and honesty of endeavor you displayed.
It has been an amazing year for our young players who have trained twice every week since last March. We have competed in several Go Games blitzes and gave an excellent account of ourselves in every way both on and off the pitch everywhere we went. None of this would have been possible if everyone involved were not on board. To all the parents who made all those sessions possible by bringing their kids down, to the club executive in St Brigid’s who were behind us at all times and the lads themselves who were always eager to have fun and play football. Lastly to our amazing team of coaches which numbers too many to mention by name who gave freely of their time to ensure a safe learning environment was created to allow our talented young footballers to flourish. One of our main aims this year was to involve more parents in the running of our teams and we feel we more than achieved this. We fielded 7 teams Sunday between U6&U8s, each team had two parents to look after them. Looking forward to 2019 already!! U6&U8 management.
