U16 Div 4

Our U16 lads played Roscommon Gaels on Sunday morning in Lisnamult in the first round of the Division 4 league. We had a great turnout and we had to play against a very strong wind in the first half and scores were at a premium. The half time score was 2/5 to a point for the Gaels. In the second half try as we did we were unable to break down a resolute defence and the game finished on a scoreline of 2/8 to 7 points. Although the result didnt go our way we played with a great spirit. The team on the day was James Halpin, Alex O Donohue, Michael Dillon, Jamie Curley, Shane Daly, Luke Whelan, Harry Griselain, Liam Hennelly, Eanna Mc Donnell, Sol Trundle, James Dillon, Brian Gonley, Bryan Armstrong, James Rourke, James Goose, David Dolan, Oran Benton, Mathew Samuels.
