St. Patrick’s Day Charity Fun Game
St.
Brigid’s newly formed youth council are organising a charity fun match
on St. Patrick’s Day at 2pm in the club. The game will involve players
from the u14, u16 and minor boys and girls teams taking on their
parents. There will be some guest appearance by club senior players both
ladies and gents. Entry is €5 with proceeds going to the Roscommon
Branch of the Parkinson’s association. Please come along and support
this worthy cause. Promises to be great entertainment. Refreshments will
be served in the bar afterwards.

St. Brigid’s 1-10, Western Gaels 1-15.
Our
senior side hosted the men from Frenchpark on Friday night last in
Kiltoom. The pitch was in great shape after getting a few dry days
following the heavy rain the previous week. However, despite the dry
conditions St. Brigid’s were not able to see off the challenge from
Western Gaels. Although a close enough game throughout, Western Gaels
had that bit more in the tank to see off a late surge from our lads.
