On the evening before, the U-14 Division 4 team put in a good performance in the championship but lost out narrowly away to St Michaels who prevailed by 6-6  to 4-6. U-12s: On Monday of last week in the Division 1 league, a strong second half showing and a flurry of goals ensured St Brigid’s got the better of a game St. Ciaran’s side in Kiltoom to win out on a scoreline of 7-8 to 2-5. Despite missing a few players and losing out narrowly, the Division 3 side put in an excellent second half performance on Sunday last away to Shannon Gaels. Staring into an eleven point deficit at half-time, the team put in a courageous display after the break, whittling down the lead to four points before time eventually ran out.
