St Brigid’s Ladies   



Training continues for all grades from U8s to Senior. Players will be notified of any changes to normal training times. We are always welcoming new members and parents are especially welcome to get involved. Training schedules or further information on St. Brigids Ladies GAA email or phone 086 0876933.

Training for Senior and Minor Ladies continues on Wednesday evenings and Friday evenings at 8.00 at pitch. Training for U12 and U14 girls continueson Tuesday evening at 7:00 at pitch. Training for U8s & U10s continues on Wednesday evening at 7:00 at pitch.

Minors: The quarter-final against Clann na nGael is fixed for Thursday, September 5th.The RBK sponsored minors had a good work out last night, Tuesday, against Padraig Pearses. We wish Shane Mannion and Mark Daly all the very best ahead of the Roscommon minor game against Tyrone in the All-Ireland semi-final.

U-16s: The Derek Duggan Travel sponsored U-16s had a six point win over neighbours Clann na nGael on Friday evening last. Final scoreline: St. Brigid's 3-9Clann na nGael 1-9Team and scorers: Cormac McDonnell, Shane Fuery, Dylan Kelly, Darren Carroll, Gavin Byrne, Brian Stack (0-1), James Curley, Luke Carty (0-2), Conor Murray (0-1), Paul Daly (0-1), Ryan Jinks (2-1), Kealen Byrne, Jack McDonnell (1-2), Colin Daly, Fiachra Lennon (0-1). Subs: Damon Daly, Edmond Nolan, Brian Daly. The U-16s next league game is against Roscommon Gaelson Friday next in Lisnamult at 7pm.

 U-14s: The D & M O'Grady Builders sponsored U-14 team played Roscommon Gaels in the championship semi-final on Tuesday, August 27th at 6.45pm in Fuerty.

U-12s: The Millmount Maintenance Services sponsored U-12s will be visiting the Croke Park museum before attending the Roscommon minor semi-final game on Sunday next, September 1st. The summer league for the U-12s is due to recommence this week. Players will be notified in due course of the details of the games.

U-10s: The Sheraton Hotel sponsored U-10s had two good wins away to Athlone last Wednesday evening in the Clann na nGael tournament. The squad played Padraig Pearses in the next round last Monday, August 26th, in Kiltoom. The U-10 squad will visit Croke Park next Saturday, August 31st for an official tour of the stadium.

U-8s: The U-8s and their coaches enjoyed a great day out last Saturday when they visited Croke Park for a stadium tour.

Roscommon minor game v Tyrone:  The U-12, U-14 and U-16 squads will be travelling by buses to Croke Park on Sunday next,September 1st, to support the Roscommon minor team who take on Tyrone in the All-Ireland semi-final.

Coaching camp:  An excellent coaching camp for U-10s and U-12s took place on Saturdaylast.A big thank you to all involved and especially senior players, Senan and Ian Kilbride, Karl Mannion, Darragh Donnelly, Gearoid Cunniffee, Eoin Sheehy and Ronan Stack
