The donation of one saleable item for inclusion in the auction will contribute to the success of the fundraiser. U10's had a busy schedule over the past couple of weeks beginning with the two latest rounds of the Tormey's Tournament in which we played Clan na nGael and Athlone.
On Saturday we had a day out for the lads
beginning with a challenge game against Tulsk and then followed by a very
enjoyable afternoon in Lough Key Forest Park.
U-14 Boys Championship County Finals
Division 4 Final
St. Brigid's 2-6, St. Croan's 10-6.
Our division 4 side were unfortunately defeated by a very strong St. Croan's team on Saturday last in Knockcroghery. Despite going in at half time only two points down, Croans came out strong in the second half and our lads just couldn't find a solution to Croan's second half goals blitz.

division 1 side had a fantastic win in the final over neighbours Clan na nGael.
Although we had a slow first half our lads came out in form for the second half
and score 4-7 in the second half in comparison to Clann's single goal.

Minor Boys Championship
St. Brigid's 0-11, Clan na nGael 0-7.
Our Minor side are through to the county semi-final and beating Clan na nGael on Friday night last in Johnstown in the final game of the group. Brigid's started strong and went in 8 points to 3 up at half time thanks to an excellently taken free from Jack McDonnell and a superb point from Brian Stack. The home side really put it up to us in the second half but points from Kealan Byrne and Brian Derwin insured we kept our lead and secures our place in the semi-final against the winners of the playoff between Kilmore and Clan na nGael.

Snug sponsored junior team booked their place in the county semi-final against
Ballinameen following an eight win over Kilglass Gaels on Sunday last in Strokestown.
The end of the season has come for the u10 and u8 girls, they have had a wonderful year and played some fantastic football. We would like to thank all the management teams, the parents for the support throughout the season, and we are looking forward to meeting you all next spring!
