Ladies Notes

As we draw to the end of the year, we look back on the Ladies Gaelic year.

The senior ladies knocked out of championship at semi-final stages, beaten narrowly, disappointed not to be in with a chance to win the newly named "O Malley Cup". But we have no doubt, these ladies will be back again, fighting fit and ready for action in 2016.
Both our U12 teams qualified for finals, both winning their Division 1 and 3 Championships.
The U12 Girls Community Games team, retained the county title and went on to Connacht and were beaten in the final.
The U14 girls were unlucky not to progress to the County final, beaten by neighbours St Dominic's. They also reached the county feile semi-final.

The ladies committee would sincerely like to thank all the managers and coaches who have helped throughout the year with underage and senior teams in the club. Thanks for your time and the enormous effort you give every week in pursuit of excellence for each and every player.

Also we would like to thank John Daly and Val Lynch both have been great friends to the ladies committee for the last number of years, always ensuring pitch and dressing room availability, thank you both.

Finally to all the Parents and Players, We wish you a Very Happy Christmas and Best Wishes for 2016, on and off the pitch!
