County Final

As most of you probably already know, St. Brigid's GAA Club will host the 2016 Hodson Bay Hotel sponsored Senior County Final between ourselves and Padraig Pearses. The county final takes place at 330pm on Sunday 23rd October. These days will not come around every year so we are encouraging everyone to show your support for the club by getting all your green and red flags, bunting, banners etc out and flying high.

U14 Boys Division 1 County Final

St. Brigid's 4-10, Clann na nGael 1-6.

Our McGorisk Pharmacies sponsored u14 team made it two in a row after winning the county title on Friday night last in Kiltoom. It was a great display of football by our players and thoroughly deserved win.

U14 Boys Division 4 County Final

St. Brigid's 4-7, Michael Glavey's 4-12.

U14 Girls Division 1 County Final

St. Brigid's 3-3, Clann na nGael 1-10.

Our u14 girls were very unfortunate to lose to clann by a single point. Our grls were slow to get off the mark and despite a few chances just couldn't get scores. At half time we were four points down. St. Brigid's came out strong in the second half and despite being down eight points at one point we managed to get back level. However, Clann were able to get the point needed to win out the game.

Club Lotto

At the moment we are having an unprecedented run on the lotto jackpot. The lotto jackpot is now at an all time high never having reached this amount before. With the jackpot so high it is a great opportunity to raise vital funds for our club. It is also very easy to sell the lotto when the jackpot is so high. With this in mind we are asking people if they can take some lotto books and try and sell tickets to family, friends and work colleagues. If you think you coukd sell tickets please contact Barry on 086-8504676.
St. Brigid's lotto can be played in all local shops and pubs, as well as on-line at  stbrigids.gaa.ie. Tickets are only €2 each and this week's jackpot is €17,800.
