Black and White Pudding Night in aid of Pieta House

So Saturday 1st October the place to be is St. Brigid's Clubhouse for a Black and White Pudding Night in aid of Pieta House.
Promises to be a great night's entertainment with music by the UN Vets, a guest appearance by St. Brigid's Choir, a mini auction and spot prizes also on the night.

Senior County Semi-Final

Due to the All Ireland Final going to a replay the time of our semi final has been changed to 430pm on Sunday next 2nd October in Strokestown. Please come along and support our lads in their quest to get to the county final. 

Junior A County Semi Final 
St. Brigid's 0-9, Kilglass Gaels 1-10.

Our Junior side were defeated by a strong Kilglass Gaels side on Saturday last in Knockcroghery. Our side found it hard to get going in the first half and went in at half time four points down. Although a tighter second half it just seemed that our lads couldn't get the scores needed, missing two goal chances.

U16 Boys County Final

St. Brigid's 1-9, Clan na nGael 0-8.

Our u16 team are county champions following a great game of football over our rivals Clann on Sunday last in Johnstown.

U10 Boys

Two U-10 squads played in the Rochfortbridge blitz held on Saturday 24th September 2016. They played 5 games in wet and windy conditions.  Thanks to rochfortbridge for hosting the tournament and providing refreshments on the day.

Progressive 25

Progressive 25 commences in handball complex Curraghboy on Tuesday 4th october at 9pm. All welcome. 

Scor na nOg 2016 

Entries are being taken for boys and girls under 17 on 1st january 2017 that would have an interest in representing St Brigid's in the Scor na nOg competitions this year. The disciplines are as follows: solo singing, recitation/storytelling, instrumental music, ballad group, leiriu (sketches) or table quiz (4 per team).  Please contact Diane on 086 7821022 for all entries and further information.

Club Lotto

At the moment we are having an unprecedented run on the lotto jackpot. The lotto jackpot is now at an all time high never having reached this amount before. With the jackpot so high it is a great opportunity to raise vital funds for our club. It is also very easy to sell the lotto when the jackpot is so high. With this in mind we are asking people if they can take some lotto books and try and sell tickets to family, friends and work colleagues. If you think you coukd sell tickets please contact Barry on 086-8504676. 
St. Brigid's lotto can be played in all local shops and pubs, as well asonlinestbrigids.gaa.ie. Tickets are only €2 each and this week's jackpot is €17,400.

Club Jackets

Their are new club jackets available to order from the club shop. Jackets are available to try on and order in our club shop on Friday evenings from 8-9pm or contact Bernie on (086) 606 4604.

Get all your flags, beanie hats, jerseys, half zips etc in the club shop. The shop will be open from 8-9pm on Friday or contact Bernie to arrange a time on 086-6064604.
