Annual Fundraising Lunch

St. Brigid’s will hold its annual fundraising lunch kindly hosted and sponsored by the Hodson Bay Hotel on next Sunday 19th November at 1pm. This event has proven to be a very enjoyable occasion over the last number of years and we hope that this year will be as successful. Despite losing last week, we are very proud of our lads and it has been a hugely successful year for our club retaining the U16, Minor and Senior County titles as well as winning the Junior A Final and the Connacht Minor Final, so please come along and show your support. All the county trophies will be available for pictures as well as the Nestor Cup and the Connacht u17 County Cup. Tickets are €20 per person with u14’s €10 and tables of ten €200. To book your place contact Áine on (086) 3791294, Tomás on (086) 0876933, P.J. on ‭(086) 805 3037‬ or Tommy on ‭(086) 449 3871‬.

Remembrance Mass

The club will be holding a remembrance mass for all our deceased members and friends this Friday 17th at 7pm in the clubhouse. We would like to invite everyone to come along for this special mass.

Gear fitting night

St. Brigid’s recently got new club gear including two training tops, a half zip top, skinny tracksuit bottoms and new club jackets. We will be holding a measuring and ordering night on Friday 17th November after the remembrance mass for anyone that would like to order gear. We will be taking payment on the night also in order to have all the gear in before Christmas.

Connacht Minor Championship Final

We would like to congratulate our superb Minor team and management on their history making win in last Friday nights Connacht Final. It’s a great achievement and thoroughly deserved after all the hard work that the team have put in.
For a full match report please go to the Sports section of local papers.

Connacht Senior Semi Final

Commiserations to our senior team and management following their defeat to Corofin following a great game of football which we managed to bring to extra time. It was a battling performance and the lads left everything on the pitch unfortunately it just wasn’t our day. We are immensely proud of the players and would like to thank each and everyone of them for all their hard work this year. It’s been a great year and the future looks bright for St. Brigid’s.

For a match report please see the sports section of local papers.
