Senior County Final

As there was no notes last week I would like to congratulate our senior men on winning the Hodson Bay Hotel sponsored senior County Final.
Also I need to pay tribute to all of our superb volunteers. From Fas who prepared the grounds and had the pitch looking like a grass carpet to the stewards, programme sellers, shop attendants, Lotto sellers, sandwich makers, tea ladies, and the bar staff that put in a serious shift last Sunday.
It would not be possible for us to host these events were it not for the army of volunteers that do all this great work for us. Thank you so much.

With this in mind we are asking people if they can take some lotto books and try and sell tickets to family, friends and work colleagues. If you think you coukd sell tickets please contact Barry on 086-8504676.
St. Brigid's lotto can be played in all local shops and pubs, as well as on-line at  stbrigids.gaa.ie. Tickets are only €2 each and this week's jackpot is €18,400

Next Sunday 23rd October is a huge day for the club not only are we hosting the Senior County Final but we are also contesting our 9th Senior County Final since 2005. The Hodson Bay Hotel sponsored Senior County Final takes place at 330pm in Kiltoom.
These days will not come around every year so we are encouraging everyone to show your support for the club by getting all your green and red flags, bunting, banners etc out and flying high.

Fundraising Lunch

On Sunday last 16th October we had our annual fundraising lunch in the Hodson Bay Hotel. As every year it was a huge success and an extremely enjoyable day for everyone. We would like to thank our long time sponsor the Hodson Bay Hotel for once again kindly sponsoring and hosting this event. Many thanks to all the staff in the Bay for the excellent service. A special thanks to everyone that attended the lunch and to those that sponsored spot prizes.
